Good fit for
  • Anyone whose website is a real part of how they get business
  • Stores where an hour of downtime is an hour of lost orders
  • Teams running an app who do not want to employ a DevOps person yet

A website is not a thing you buy. It is a thing you run. Plans exist so running it is a line item rather than a panic.

Most of the sites I am asked to rescue were fine on launch day. What broke them was eighteen months of nothing: no updates, no backups anyone tested, an SSL certificate that quietly expired, and a plugin with a known vulnerability sitting on the checkout page.

Care plans put that on a schedule. Hosting on infrastructure I actually monitor, daily or hourly backups that get restore-tested, dependency and security patching, uptime checks every few minutes, and a monthly report telling you what happened rather than assuring you everything is fine.

Every plan includes a block of change hours, because the alternative (a quote for every headline edit) means the site slowly stops reflecting the business. Four tiers, priced from R450 a month, and you can move between them at any point.

Process

Five phases, in this order, every time

You will always know which phase we are in and what is needed from you to close it.

  1. 01

    Audit

Where the site lives now, what shape it is in, and what is quietly broken. Free, and you get the findings either way.

  2. 02

    Migrate

Move onto managed hosting with no downtime, usually overnight. DNS, mail and certificates handled.

  3. 03

    Harden

Backups, monitoring, firewall, updates and access control set up properly in the first week.

  4. 04

    Run

Scheduled maintenance, your change hours, and a report at the end of every month.

  5. 05

    Review

A quarterly call on performance, cost and whether the plan still fits what the site is doing.

Questions

About this service specifically

General questions about fees, ownership and revisions are answered on the FAQ page.

Do I have to have built the site with you?

No. Roughly half the sites on care plans were built by somebody else. The free audit tells you what taking it on would involve before either of us commits.

What if I need more hours than the plan includes?

Additional development time is R650 an hour, quoted and approved before it is used. Unused hours roll over for one month.
